Rob Wants Gus Van Sant for Breaking Dawn

Robert Pattinson wants Gus Van Sant to direct the fourth 'Twilight' film.

The British heartthrob said he has earmarked the veteran director to take on the fourth instalment in the vampire saga - 'Breaking Dawn' - in which he stars as lead character Edward Cullen.

He told MTV news: "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it."

The actor also gave rumours the film would be shot in Portland, Oregon, where the first film, 'Twilight', was made. The first two sequels - 'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' were both filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Robert thinks this could help attract 'Milk' director Gus to the project as it is where he lives and has set many of his films.

Robert, 23, added: "He shoots everything in Portland. He's good at making it look beautiful."

The 'Twilight' saga is adapted from a series of novels by Stephanie Meyer.

'Twilight: New Moon' starring Robert, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, is released in cinemas from November 20. source
